Holiday 3-3 Tournament

The Arlington Basketball Club is hosting its annual 3 vs. 3 Basketball Tournament on Tuesday, December 30th at Ottoson Middle School. This tourney is round robin style play with each team playing several short games in a 90-minute block. Players register individually and teams will be set by the tournament directors with the intent of maximizing competitive play across teams. Teams will only play other teams of the same grade levels.

Registration is open to 24 boys and 24 girls from each current grade year, 3rd through 8th grade. Subsequent player registrations will be put on a waiting list. Registration closes on Sunday, 12/28. High school players can also earn volunteer hours - email ABC (arlingtonbasketballclub@gmail.com) to learn how to help. Come out and play!

Fall Girls League (Grades 2-4)

This league is a 10-week basketball league for 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade girls. Registration is individual and players will be placed on a team and be on that same team throughout the season. Games will be played on Saturday afternoons and there will be an optional practice once per week (on Mondays most likely 6-7 PM). Teams will be formed evenly based on playing level with an even amount of players from grade 2, 3 and 4 on each team. There will be a maximum of 8 players per team, games are played 4-4 and will be played on 8.5 ft hoops. Game times will be 32 minutes (4 quarters, 8 minutes each) stop time with a referee. Coaches will be volunteers (if you are interested in being a coach please contact arlingtonbasketballclub@gmail.com). The emphasis of this program will be on teaching the participants how to play in a game setting rather than running plays and winning games.

Winter 2026 Travel Basketball (Grades 4-8)

Grades 4 to Grade 8 - Practices begin in the second week of November, games the first weekend of December

These are competitive, travel basketball teams. All interested participants must attend tryouts, and advanced registration online is required. Coaches will notify players regarding the outcome of the tryout within one week of the last try-out. Once notified, participants must pay the balance of the fee before being allowed to participate in practices. Each team will practice one or two times per week. The third-grade program will have one practice per week. Teams will play on average one/two games per weekend, and they will play away games (half of the games are home games in Arlington, half are away in neighboring towns).

League Dates: Beginning the first weekend of December and ending approximately March 1, with practice beginning in November.

Fee: $499 per participant (uniform to be purchased separately). All players must pre-register prior to try-outs online.

Winter 2026 Junior League (3rd Grade)

This in town league is for 3rd graders and serves as preparation for travel basketball, which starts in 4th grade and plays in the MetroWest League. Teams will be formed evenly, and players will be on the same team throughout the season. Each team will have their own practice once per week (at one of the elementary schools at 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM) and there will be a combined skills practice (optional) for the grade on Friday nights as well. There will be 4-6 teams, and each team will play games on Sundays. Games will be exactly like travel basketball games are played: 32 minutes long, 4 quarters of 8 minutes each, stop time with referees. Games are played full court, 4-4 (girls) and 5-5 (boys) on 8.5 ft hoops.

The emphasis of this program will be on teaching the participants how to play rather than running plays and winning games. Each week, we will build on the previous week’s skills and concepts. Then play games with a referee so players can learn and get used to how basketball is played.
